Custom Scenarios Examples

1. Install the Windows, carry out all the test and prepurchase arrangements with the system.
   
2. Connect the system HDD, which has to be backed up as a secondary device to an auxiliary Windows-based computer and boot the system from the primary hard disk.
   
3. Copy the folder WINPEPSRBUILDER\CD\PSR to the hard disk and launch the Backup Wizard: (WINPEPSRBUILDER\CD\PSR\BACKUP\backup.exe)
   
4. Select a partition/HDD to back up
   
5. Select a CD/DVD-ROM drive or a CD/DVD Emulator to create ISO Image of the Recovery CD/DVD
   
6. Mark the option 'Backup Now' and burn the Recovery CD (create ISO Image)

1. Install the Windows, carry out all the test and prepurchase arrangements with the system.
   
2. Prepare WinPE CD by using WINPEPSRBUILDER\CD\PSR folder (see the instructions in the PSR CD Based Solution manual). The main executable file (Backup Wizard) is WINPEPSRBUILDER\CD\PSR\BACKUP\backup.exe
   
3. Connect a second CD/DVD burner device
   
4. Boot from the WinPE CD
   
5. After launching the Backup Wizard select a partition/HDD to back up
   
6. Select a CD/DVD-ROM drive
   
7. Mark the option 'Backup Now' and burn Recovery CD

1. Boot from the Recovery CD/DVD
   
2. Select the DOS or Linux environment to restore the system. In case you need external devices support select Linux. It is preferable to use more reliable DOS environment to work with standard devices.
   
3. After your confirmation the partition (HDD) will be restored.

1. Prepare a Hard Disk to be cloned on the Master computer, carry out the final testing and reseal the computer for end-users.
   
2. Connect the system HDD, which has to be backed up as a secondary device to an auxiliary Windows-based computer and boot the system from the auxiliary computer.
   
3. Install the Exact Image module (file ei70-en.exe).
   
4. After launching the Exact Image you will be asked to create a Backup Capsule, click ‘Yes’ to do it.
   
5. Select the secondary system HDD to back up. Change size of the Backup Capsule if necessary and confirm the operation of creation.
   
6. In the Main GUI select a partition (or entire HDD in the Full version) to back up and click ‘Backup hard disk or selected partitions’ in the left-side menu.
   
7. The Backup Wizard will be started, select ‘Save data to the Backup Capsule’ and perform the operation.
   
8. After Backing Up, disconnect the Master HDD and clone it for end users
   
9. Together with the computers is delivered the standard Recovery CD from Paragon.

3. After launching the Exact Image you will be asked to create Backup Capsule, click ‘Yes’ to do it.
   
4. Select the secondary system HDD to back up. Change size of the Backup Capsule if necessary and confirm the operation of creation.
   
5. In the Main GUI select a partition (or entire HDD in the Full version) to back up and click ‘Backup hard disk or selected partitions’ in the left-side menu.
   
6. The Backup Wizard will be started, select ‘Save data to the Backup Capsule’ and perform the operation
   
7. Together with the computers is delivered the standard Recovery CD from Paragon.
